Opa Sushi has been a mainstay in the Cowbay tourist district of Prince Rupert for over 25 years. It is a family-run business, started by Yoshi Nakamura in 1998 who came to Prince Rupert with a dream of making sushi in a little fishing village where the fish was fresh and the air pure. Sister in law Kristi and John took over in 2004 and run it with their family today. Opa has built a loyal customer following and family of staff members who have called this little restaurant home.
Our restaurant is available for private events: weddings, business lunches, dinners, cocktail receptions, and more. We would love to discuss how to be a part of your next event.
